Titans International Academy

 Centurion Cricket

Summary

The Titans have launched an International Cricket Academy, dubbed SPICA. This initiative will broaden the horizons and exposure of players and stakeholders passed the boarders of South Africa, bringing developmental cricket to the forefront globally.

Description

We are thrilled to present our annual state-of-the-art SuperSport Park International Cricket Academy, otherwise referred to as SPICA. The academy will endeavour to nurturing cricketing talent on a global scale.

As a TCU initiative, SPICA is a wholehearted commitment of our resources to the progress of the young talent globally, providing access to world-class training facilities and renowned coaches with extensive knowledge to share. We offer an intensive 6-week program that immerses participants in a professional cricket environment, preparing them for the demands of high-level competition. This includes detailed practice sessions, game preparation, and a focus on nutrition, supplementation, and physical and mental conditioning.

Members benefit from playing facilities, gym memberships, former professionals as technical consultants, top-tier coaching, developmental camps, competitive matches against the Momentum Multiply Titans and other professional teams, and team-building tours. Our academic program includes financial literacy, personal development seminars, and coaching certifications, promoting holistic growth beyond cricket.

In 2024, our academy faced the Momentum Multiply Titans, Uganda's national team, and the Dolphins and Boland academies, with coaching from legends like AB de Villiers, Chris Morris, Farhaan Behardien, and others. We develop well-rounded individuals, not just cricketers.

Key figures for sponsors

Titans Cricket Union reached 6 million views and impressions on social media in the past year, with major engagement on Instagram (2.1 million views) and Facebook (2.6 million views). The academy content strategy and plan will be to commit to three post a week (Monday’s, Wednesday’s, and Friday’s) during its calendar and at least six posts on SPICA game days, with your brand front and centre.

Additional exposure includes coverage in traditional print and audio media, and a SuperSport docuseries broadcast on terrestrial TV. Once finalised, the partnership will be announced through these media partners, our social medias, and will also be amplified through a CSA media press release.
