My name is Shaun Luther I am 27 years old and a professional mixed martial arts fighter, I train out of Weston super-mare England with “Team Savage” under Alex Owen (Who boasts a Professional record of 23-1-0)

I have been involved in the sport for over a decade now, my Semi-professional record was 8 wins 2 losses (8-2-0), and my professional record to date is 4 wins 4 losses (4-4-0).

My last win lasting just 20 seconds with a victorious knockout, the video went viral due to the spectacular nature of the finish with over 130,000 views, please check it out on youtube! my greatest achievement to date!

I have been fighting for Cage warriors which is the best show in Europe, it televises its show all around the world on UFC-Fightpass (a streaming site, previously BT Sport) and they have direct contact with the UFC which televise on BT Sport.

If you are unaware of the UFC and its work, it is the leading platform in Mixed Martial Arts and one of the fastest growing sports in the world.

It was actually the only Professional sport continuing to run in the world at the start of the corona virus.

My next fight was due to be main event for the cagewarriors show in wales but due to corona it has been postponed.

Ultimately my ambition is to reach the UFC and compete at the highest level which is what I have been striving towards since I started in 2008.

I think that we could both benefit in some way, I could help market all of your products to many fans of the MMA world and everyone else I know, there is a big following in my sport and people are prepared to spend lots of money coming to the shows. If I could feature your logo on my t-shirts, banners, social media including Instagram, Facebook and Twitter, videos, shout-outs and television, this could be a big benefit to your company.

There are a lot of hidden costs in the sport,

Paying £75 a month membership for 3 different clubs

Over £200 a month in fuel

£200 a year in kit (running trainers, wrestling boots, shorts, rash vests, gloves, shin pads, Jiujitsu gis.

Over £200 in competitions

£300 per year physio treatment

£300-400 for “Safe MMA” medicals (medical tests which need to be taken before fighting on Cage warriors)  

Even if you could cover the cost of some of these it would be of massive benefit, or even supply equipment and kit.
