Description
Serbia Cricket Federation was established in 2009 and became an associated member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) in 2017. The sport in Serbia has grown to six domestic clubs with men. women and youth competitions. The National team has been playing in numerous ICC and European Cricket Network competitions and has climbed to the ranking of number 72 in the world.
Serbia Cricket Federation uses any funding received from the ICC and Serbian Government to continue to grow the sport in schools and local areas to ensure a strong base for the sport in the future.
The national team is made up of home grown talent and several expatriates playing cricket in Australia and England. To compete in more international competition and gain further exposure of the Serbian Cricket team both internationally and locally corporate sponsorship is being sort.
