Summary
Description
I am Neele Eckhardt, 28 years old and currently live in Göttingen.
I have been doing competitive athletics since I moved to the boarding school in Hanover in 2008. It quickly became apparent that I have a special talent for jumping, and so I ended up doing the long jump and the triple jump. What fascinates me most about this discipline is the technical difficulty and the feeling of flying. In 2012, I started studying law in Göttingen. In the first semesters, I mastered the sport and the studies in parallel. Now, with the postponement of the Olympic Games, my degree has also been pushed back another year. But I'm happy to accept this for my lifelong dream of competing in the Olympic Games!
Sponsorship Usage
I use the sponsorship money for my daily living needs and to finance competitive sports. This mainly includes equipment, shoes and financing training camps. In addition, a car would help me a lot in my everyday life and especially when travelling to competitions within Germany.

Greatest successes
2020 was supposed to be my sporting highlight - the indoor season went very well and then I was unfortunately - like so many athletes - slowed down in the spring. The late season, which I unfortunately had to end after four competitions with a torn muscle fibre, did not go as I had hoped. But I will be back to my old achievements in the Olympic year 2021 and am already looking forward to it!
In 2019, I was unfortunately slowed down by two lung infections. My biggest success is the victory at the Universiade 2017, and I also reached the finals at the European Championships 2018 and the World Championships 2017. In 2018, I was able to become the German champion in the three-ropes event both indoors and outdoors.
My greatest successes include 8th place at the 2013 U23 European Championships, 8th place at the 2010 U20 World Championships in the triple jump and participation in the 2009 U18 World Championships.
I have also been Lower Saxony and North German champion in the triple jump several times.
In 2010 I was German Youth Champion in the triple jump and in 2014 German Junior Champion in this discipline.
In summer 2014 and winter 2016 I was 3rd at the German Championships.
Key figures for sponsors
My club, the LG Göttingen, consists of three sub-clubs, the LAV Göttingen e.V., the ASC Göttingen von 1846 e.V. and the Turn-und Wassersportverein Göttingen 1861 e.V.. This includes the largest sports club, the ASC Göttingen. Unfortunately, I don't know the exact membership figures, but the LG Göttingen is one of the leading athletics clubs in Lower Saxony.
In addition, I get regular attention from the local press, which also raises the profile of my sponsors.
Furthermore, I can wear the logos of the companies on my jersey and/or competition clothing, which reaches a large number of spectators or even TV viewers at meets.
I am trying to expand my Instagram account and share my daily life as an athlete with interested people. I currently have about 1500 followers.
