Summary
Description
We, the Brazil Caramelos team, are honored to be the first Brazilian Kho Kho national team and to participate in the 1st Kho Kho World Cup, which will take place in New Delhi, India, from January 12 to 19, 2025.
Our team, composed of 15 athletes and 4 members of the coaching staff, was formed with the dream of placing Brazil on the international stage of a dynamic and strategic sport that demands speed, agility, and teamwork. We chose to represent Brazil in this event because we believe in the transformative power of sports to unite cultures, promote inclusion, and inspire future generations.
Kho Kho is one of India’s most traditional and exciting sports, deeply rooted in its culture. Played in teams of nine athletes, it combines strategy, speed, and endurance. This World Cup, bringing together 26 countries, marks a historic step for the globalization of the sport and its popularization beyond the Indian subcontinent. Participating in this inaugural event not only puts Brazil on the Kho Kho map but also contributes to the growth of the sport in our country, inspiring new players and promoting values like discipline, resilience, and teamwork.
