The University of Alabama Hockey Club was founded in 2005 by University of Alabama students and is now approaching its seventeenth season. The team plays all of their home games in Pelham, AL at the Pelham Civic Complex. The organization is managed by University of Alabama students. The program elevated its status to ACHA Division I in 2015 and now competes at the highest level of ACHA college hockey. Alabama is the only SEC school to have a program competing at this level. Alabama hockey strives to continue its tradition of leadership in collegiate hockey. The strength of the UA hockey program com bined with UA’s variety of academic options at a competitive cost has made the University an attractive option for prospective student hockey athletes. As the organization has grown over the years, so has its effort to grow and connect with the com m unity. Our marketing focus continues to be mainly on social media, with a strong continued presence on multiple platforms. The team also continues to be involved with the community, helping coach the local youth hockey teams and hosting local events in Tuscaloosa. In the upcoming pages, we will outline why partnering with Alabama Hockey will be a value -added addition to Alabama Vintage’s marketing efforts. We hope you carefully consider this proposal and make the decision skate along with us during the 2023-2024 season.
Our preferred sponsor
Our ideal sponsor would be one who loves hockey and wants to support the success of the college hockey program and student-athletes.
Sponsorship Usage
We would like to have a sponsor collaborate with us to ensure that we can travel via plane to games. Currently, we have to take buses to every away game, sometimes traveling for more than 16 hours.
